An Echo Chamber is a metaphorical description of a situation in which internsic beliefs are amplified or reinforced by communication and repetition inside a closed system. Social media Echo Chambers are partly responsible for the emergence and amplification of so-called "fake news" and can further contribute to polarization between parties at opposite ends of the policical, economical, and social spectrum.
Media bias cannot be eliminated with current technologies. However, its effects can be reduced by normalizing the playing field. Newslytics' unique Analytics Features allow the end user to be made self of aware of formation of such echo chambers. Being aware of your own biases and preferences is important in order to identify and combat your personal filter-bubbles.
Our Machine Learning Models are accurate to industry standards and beyond, while M.L/Deep Learning is a great tool to use in sentiment analysis, it is not perfect. You as the user can provide feedback to help further improve our models (see in app for more details).

News Polarity is determined by many factors and may change over time based on the source's agenda. The information we provide to our users may be subject to change. We will notify you of any changes in-app.
