Newslytics was founded with the aim to provide consumers with powerful tools to control and visualize what kind of news they consume. In our current socio/economic climate, News media tends to polarize issues by giving extreme ends of the narrative.
Our aim at Newslytics is to ensure that the end user achieves full transformation into an active consumer of news by always getting the complete picture. We are setting out to lay the foundation for a healthier social discord.

Shahid Bilal
Cofounder, CEO/CTO
Writing his first line of code at the age of 13, Shahid has an undying passion as well as extensive experience in Software Development and Engineering, with an educational background in Computer Science and Chemistry. He is also passionate about entrepreneurship and business.
Umer Razzaq
Cofounder, Software Engineer, Director of Marketing
With a background in Software Engineering, Umer is passionate about learning new tech and has broad experience working with multiple stacks. On his spare time he likes to spend time with family/friends and go to the gym.
Nasir Javed
Cofounder, Director of Design and Business Development
With a background in Engineering, Nasir found his passion in design and entrepreneurship. He brings his wide array of experience to NewsLytics. Proud father of a newborn, Nasir enjoys spending time with his family.
Tahir Razzaq
Project Management, Scrum Master, Technical Support
With a background in healthcare, Tahir Razzaq has found a passion in bringing the same excellence of providing and caring for others into the Tech space. Tahir Razzaq has served Newslytics in the capacity of internal Project Management and also bridging the gap between the Customer and the Developers. Through out the alpha build, Tahir conducted inperson A/B testing of UI and app features at different universities/venues. Through out the intial beta release cycle and production release, Tahir was the point person in getting feedback and translating those into requirements for the developers and managing tickets in Trello. He also served in the role of Scrum Master Outside of work Tahir loves to outdoor activites and also manages the Diversity In adventure instagram page that is dedicated to representing minorities in nature
